We are delighted to announce that manuscripts related to presentations at the 46th International Symposium on High Performance Liquid Phase Separations and Related Techniques (HPLC 2017 Jeju) will be considered for publication in four different special issues of the following journals:
● Journal of Chromatography A / Journal of Chromatography B
● Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society
● Analytical Science & Technology
All oral and poster presenters are encouraged to make use of this great opportunity to push our field forward by providing readers with an update of current research in various topics covered in this conference.
All submitted manuscripts will be considered with the quality criteria of normal submissions, undergoing a fast but strict peer-review process. Authors are suggested to read carefully on the scope of the above journals before deciding which journal they should submit a paper to. The submission deadline for the special issues is April 30, 2018. Please check out the detailed information on each journal for submission.

Participants are cordially invited to submit manuscripts based your presentation(s) at the 46th International Symposium on High Performance Liquid Phase Separations and Related Techniques (HPLC2017 Jeju) for possible publication in
Journal of Chromatography A or
Journal of Chromatography B, with the intention of publishing in a joint Virtual Special Issue (VSI) that is dedicated to this symposium.
Virtual Special Issue essentially rules out possible delays in publication for contributors to the special issue and will make this conference special issue more complete and accessible than it has ever been. Please see below its advantageous characteristics:
● Accepted papers are published as soon as they are accepted in earliest available regular journal volumes at Science Direct;
● There will be Footnotes included into each accepted article, indicating at which conference papers were presented;
● The virtual collection of finally accepted papers will be prepared and hosted on a dedicated Virtual Special Issue site – with links to the conference papers on Science Direct;
● Preface and with the added possibility of post-conference information, e.g. photos, conference award(s) if any, are available via Virtual Special Issue.
Authors are suggested reading carefully on the Scope of these two journals before deciding to submit a paper to which journal for publication.
When preparing your manuscript(s), please carefully follow the Guide to Authors of your selected journal, which you can find at each journal’s homepage site. In the cover letter please mention that your manuscript is intended for the HPLC2017 Jeju symposium Virtual Special Issue.
Please note that all manuscripts will be subjected to the mandatory selection process for the journal selected, including the strict peer review procedure; therefore acceptance for presentation at the conference is not a guarantee for publication in the journals.
